Abstract:The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing synthetic leather, used for various kinds of shoes, furniture, bags, wallpapers or other household items, by using a polyurethane resin coating solution, wherein synthetic leather for various items is manufactured by using scraps, produced by collecting and reprocessing a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film, left after being used for a manufacturing process in shoes industry. More specifically, in a shoe manufacturing process, a procedure for attaching the TPU film to a shoe material sheet in various shapes by a high frequency fusion method is frequently performed. In this procedure, only a portion of the film in a desired shape is attached to the shoe material sheet and unnecessary remaining portions of the film are discarded as waste. The waste is classified into two types. The first type is a hot melt film (HMF) scrap. The second type is a colored TPU scrap including PU SKIN and an adhesive layer. According to the present invention, planar scraps, obtained by crushing colored TPU scraps including PU SKIN and adhesive layers, are added at a proper ratio into an HMF PU solution obtained by dissolving HMF scraps in a solvent; the HMF PU solution including the planar scraps is coated on various base materials and dried; and the surfaces of the coated and dried base materials are embossed by a roll for forming a matte embossed pattern. The eco-friendly synthetic leather is used for various kinds of shoes, furniture, bags, wallpapers or other household items.
