ASC to Add Central & South American Market Report & PSA Technologies in NA in its Report Services

Bethesda, MD -- The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) is expanding its market report services to include two new reports: Central and South American Market Report as well as PSA Technologies in North America. The two new reports will explore the market size, growth trends over three years, and include sub-segment and end user perspectives. The two new reports will be produced in collaboration with Frost & Sullivan (Central and South America) as well as The ChemQuest Group (PSA Technologies).

"When ASC surveyed its members on what new programs and services would add value to their membership, 70% of the respondents indicated ‘expanding ASCs market reports program would have the strongest value," reports Matthew E. Croson, President of ASC. "The Global Resources Committee collaborated to refine the reports focus, develop a request for proposal, review responses, and ultimately selected Frost and Sullivan for its global reach, and ChemQuest for its subject matter experience."

The new market reports will join ASCs North American Market Report and Asia Market Report, both produced by DPNA International.

"ASC is always looking to add value in new and different ways and expanding its market report services to include important geographies and critical technologies is always a priority," notes Croson. "With the inclusion of South and Central American Market, ASC is covering three of the four major geographic regions that ASC members operate within, and the Council can become a one-stop shop for fundamental market research."

The PSA Technologies report is the first time the Council is producing a report focused on a specific technology.

"The PSA Technologies report is a pilot test, but expanding and integrating knowledge is part of the current long range plan discussion, and these types of market reports could become a stronger part of the value proposition for the Council as we could also produce market reports for urethanes, caulks and sealants, hot melt and waterborne, in addition to PSA Technologies, adds Croson.

The Global Resources Committee will be meeting with each of the research partners in the coming weeks to kick off the program, with a goal of publishing both reports by April 2014. More information on the research reports, including detailed table of contents and pricing, will be made available to industry in early 2014.
