EIS to Expand its Fabrication Capabilities with Acquisition of Tekra Assets, an Adhesive Distributor

EIS, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC) has acquired the assets of Tekra Corporation based in New Berlin, WI. Tekra is a leading independent coater, converter, and distributor of specialty plastic films and adhesives. This transaction will substantially expand the capabilities and the converting technologies of the EIS Fabrication Division which currently operates from six facilities in North America.
