Bioformix at Assembly Show: Launched Nexaweld X5005 Instant Structural Adhesive

CINCINNATI -- Bioformix, Inc., a manufacturer of energy efficient, high-performance, sustainable adhesives, launched a ground-breaking structural adhesive technology platform that cures quickly, requiring no energy input and using no solvent, at the Assembly Show in Rosemont, Ill. This combination of properties, enabled by a unique malanate-based chemistry, has never been possible in industrial adhesives before.

Launched under the trade name Nexaweld X5005 Instant Structural Adhesive, the new technology represents a long-awaited change in how materials are glued together. Nexaweld adhesives will not require external energy sources such as ovens to activate, simplifying production and saving money. They will cure ambiently and bond in minutes, saving time. Formulations can be tuned to each users optimal working conditions. Plus, Nexaweld adhesives will deliver superior chemical and temperature resistance, low odor, optical clarity and no blooming.
