Jowat AG has expanded their range of packaging adhesives with the addition of two hotmelt adhesives for bonding cartons and folding boxes. The new adhesives, Jowat-Toptherm® 256.91 and Jowat-Toptherm® 256.92, are formulated for the high-speed packaging lines for cartons and boxes. Jowat-Toptherm® 256.92 created a flexible bondline even at low termperatures, making it ideal for chilled packaging. Both adhesives rapidly reach high green strength, making them suitable for lines with a pressing time of less than one second. Their formulations were optimized for existing line speed and specifications. With these products, accurate cutoff from the applicator eliminates stringing, particularly with nozzle or high feed speeds. Consequently, using Jowat-Toptherm® 256.91 and Jowat-Toptherm® 256.92 downtime and cleaning requirements are virtually nonexistant.
