Planatol Supports Gracos Innovative Hotmelt Supply System for Adhesives and more

The Planatol group, known for packaging solutions from its affiliates Wetzel GmbH and Planatol Adhesive GmbH, is in steady research for innovative product solutions. In this context Planatol got aware of the innovative hotmelt delivery system of Graco.

Graco, one of the leading manufacturers of hotmelt delivery systems for the packaging industry, increasively invests in the development of userfriendly and economical equipment solutions. Graco has close working relationships with many of the worlds leading equipment manufacturers and adhesive suppliers, like Planatol Adhesive GmbH.

The modular machines from Graco, like the Invisipac, are tankless vacuum feeded systems, processing 11,5 kg hotmelt every hour and can be up to operating temperature and running production in less than 10 minutes. Moreover, given its tankless design, it is melting adhesives just on demand, hence the adhesive spends less time at high temperature. As a consequence of this there is a significant reduction of char and its negative side effects; nozzle plugging and equipment damages. So the new design leads to less maintenance and more uptime, improving the production efficiency, reducing energy consumption by up to 30% and adhesive consumption some 15%. "Its important for our customers to be able to work cost efficiently. For this, we offer a highly efficient machine, but above all we enable our customers to freely choose their adhesive from any qualified adhesive supplier, respectively nozzle and system supplier" explains Laurent Framery from Graco.

The system thanks to its lean design can easily be moved from one line to another. Furthermore nozzles and hoses from all leading suppliers can be used on the machine.
