These highly reliable encapsulants for sensors and drive components are mainly used in the automotive industry in extreme surroundings like in the engine compartment. In particular in the engine compartment, adhesives must permanently withstand extreme temperatures up to +180 °C and resist chemicals such as gasoline, diesel and oils.

This can only be achieved by DELOs 2C anhydrides that fulfill these requirements thanks to their outstanding material properties including extremely high thermal and chemical resistance, good adhesion, perfectly adapted flow properties and variable curing parameters.
