LORD Corporation Unveils LORD Chemlok 8800, a One-coat Aqueous Adhesive

LORD Corporation - a global leader in developing rubber-to-substrate bonding adhesives for industrial and automotive markets - has announced the availability of a new single-coat aqueous adhesive.

Developed to extend LORD Corporations one-coat aqueous adhesive offering, LORD Chemlok 8800 is a single-coat aqueous adhesive. It is capable of bonding EPDM, HNBR, XHNBR, AFLAS, VAMAC, and other peroxide cured materials to a variety of rigid substrates during the elastomer cure cycle.

LORD Chemlok 8800 adhesive provides good resistance to high temperature fluid environments, making it suitable for use in the manufacture of gaskets, seals and NVH components. With low VOC emissions, this waterborne product is environmentally resistant and easy to apply. Requiring only a single coat for most applications, Chemlok 8800 reduces labor, inventory and shipping costs.
