Evo-Stik Grabs Packaging Award for its Innovative Range of Adhesive and Sealant Pouches

Market leading DIY brand Evo-Stik is delighted to announce that its ground-breaking new range of adhesive and sealant pouches has won the Award of Excellence in the Technical Innovation category at the prestigious Starpack Awards 2013.

The judges commended the products for their "clever use of packaging technology to deliver practical aid for the end user to dispense the product", and also remarked on how much easier they were to use when compared to an aerosol or traditional cartridge and gun format.

The new Evo-Stik pouches make it quicker and easier to undertake a range of DIY tasks. They are easy to open and use, removing the need for a cartridge gun and making application simple thanks to a specially developed ergonomic nozzle, which includes a reusable cap.

The innovative design is also more economical - allowing the full contents to be easily extruded and producing around 80% less waste when compared with a standard cartridge. Included in the range are Evo-Stik Grab Adhesive, and mould-resistant Evo-Stik Shower and Bathroom sealant in both White for Life and Clear for Life versions.
