The companies being acquired by Sika - JMTexsa, S.A. de C.V. of Mexico und Texsa India Ltd. - produce bituminous waterproofing membranes for the roofing market. As the world market leader in thermoplastic membranes, Sika thereby gains market access to the important roofing and waterproofing markets in Mexico and India.

The two factories - one in Altamira, Mexico, the other in Jaipur, India - will reinforce Sikas regional supply chains and provide an excellent base from which to develop and expand the markets in neighboring emerging economies.
