Dow Corning Extands Distribution Agreement with Univar to Serve Pressure Sensitive Industry in Europe

Dow Corning Corporation, a global leader in silicones, silicon-based technology and innovation, has extended its distribution agreement with Univar Inc to serve the needs of the pressure sensitive industry in Europe.

As a result of the agreement, Univar will extend the geographic scope of its distribution of Dow Cornings product range for the pressure sensitive industry to several new countries including Germany and France.

"This arrangement is designed to take advantage of the extensive presence that Univar has developed in many of the European countries, "said Kris Verschueren, European Market Manager for Dow Corning.

"It enables us to bring innovative products and the full range of Dow Corning brand specialty silicone products to benefit even more customers in this region." Dow Corning has a long history of market-driven innovation for the pressure sensitive industry, including the Syl-Off Advantage Series. This enables coaters to enhance line speed, improve coating performance and help them protect themselves from unpredictable swings in platinum metal prices.
