ASC Spring Convention & EXPO to Focus on Technical Education with the Advanced Tech. Track

Bethesda, MD -- The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) announces that there are 534 industry professionals registered to attend its Spring Convention and EXPO being held April 21-23, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, GA. The event is already a record setting event, having eclipsed the 511 professionals that registered for the previous record year, set in 2011.

"New speakers, new EXPO participants, a sharper focus on technical education with the Advanced Technology Track, and an improving economy are all coming together to drive value for the record number of participants coming to connect in Atlanta at the ASC Convention and EXPO," notes Matthew E. Croson, President of ASC. "Industry professionals looking for innovative approaches to chemistry formulation, business practices, keeping up with regulatory changes and wanting to connect with other leaders should consider reviewing the full array of sessions and plan their trip to Atlanta - there is still time."

The ASC Spring Convention and EXPO is held every year, and features technical sessions, an EXPO, a Short Course focused on critical formulation types and several networking receptions designed to connect the industry. In recent years, the ASC Convention and EXPO has evolved to included more speakers, key note addresses from industry leaders, a renewed emphasis on the EXPO, and the inclusion of a dedicated track of speakers focused on emerging research.

"The ASC Convention and EXPO has never been more focused on delivering value in new and different ways - including some big new ideas like the Advanced Technology Track-and some nuanced such as focusing key note addresses on industry issues from an end users perspective," adds Croson. The ASC Convention and EXPO is developed in partnership with the Program Planning Committee (Convention) and the Marketing Committee (EXPO). Many industry representatives have been active participants in evolving the Councils programming and should be recognized for their efforts to develop value for both members, and the industry at large.
