DELO at HMI 2013: to Present Fast-curing Adhesives for Optoelectronics and more

Being one of the winners of the "Best Professional Supplier Award", DELO Industrial Adhesives will exhibit at Hannover Messe (HMI) from April 8 to 12. Two completely new LED curing lamps, called DELOLUX 202 / 400 and DELOLUX 50 / 365 x4 will be in the spotlight.

DELO will use HMI as a platform to allow researchers and developers to share their state of development and expertise with users. At Hannover Messe, which is a driving force for investment in technology and automation, DELO focuses on its own, specifically developed LED curing lamps. The "Hidden Champion" from the Ammersee region has optimally matched adhesives and lamp systems to enable reliable and simple curing of photoinitiated adhesives with the help of special LED technology.

DELOLUX 202 / 400 with a new rectangular design and an irradiation line of 200 mm helps customers achieve short cycle time, and consequently highly efficient adhesive curing in linear production lines. The new lamp has an innovative optical system, providing an extremely even distribution of intensity over the entire irradiation area.

The new DELOLUX 50 / 365 x4 LED spot lamp has a minimally larger outer lamp head diameter of 15 mm, but nevertheless offers a significantly enlarged irradiation area of more than 100 mm² and a higher intensity than the existing DELOLUX 50 lamp heads. Cable lengths up to 10 m provide additional flexibility, for example in applications difficult to reach.

In addition, new optically clear adhesives for display bonding will be shown. These reduce reflections on the display upon exposure to sunlight. DELO will also present anisotropic conductive epoxy resins for RFID applications. They allow fast and extremely reliable production processes. Reliability is a key factor in this field, especially for applications in subway tickets, passports or protection from high-quality products against plagiarism.

DELOs innovations also include fast-curing adhesives for optoelectronics. These DELO-KATIOBOND OB and DELO-DUALBOND OB products impress by low outgassing, optical stability and fast build-up of adhesion.
