Hernon Introduces Nuts N Bolts Adhesives for Locking Threaded Fasteners

Hernon offers a complete line of adhesives for locking threaded fasteners such as nuts and bolt assemblies. Nuts N Bolts offers the convenience and immediacy of an anaerobic curing mechanism. These thread locking adhesives offer a wide-range of strengths, viscosities, and temperature ranges for just about any application. Nuts N Bolts is only recommended for metal components with the exception of Nuts N Bolts 128 which is specially designed for plastic fasteners.

Multiple combinations- plastic fasteners to plastic components, plastic fasteners to metal components, or metal fasteners to plastic components.

Nuts N Bolts 128 is a unique thread locking concept. A plasticized cyanoacrylate is applied to threads and parts mated. The quick cure system delivers excellent low strength breakaway torques and rapidly reducing prevailing torques. Because the 128 is non-anaerobic it is safe for use on threaded plastic fasteners, threaded inserts molded into plastics. No chemical attack or crazing of the plastic occurs.
