DELO & bdtronic at a Shared Booth at MECSPE: to Present Adhesive Innovations and much more

DELO Industrial Adhesives and the mechanical engineering company bdtronic present their innovations at a shared booth at MECSPE in Parma from March 21 to 23.

DELO, an internationally operating supplier of high-tech adhesives and associated technology, will present well-established DELOLUX 20 and DELOLUX 80 LED curing lamps as well as DELO-ML adhesives for mechanical engineering and plant construction.

These one-component, solvent-free adhesives cure under exclusion of oxygen (anaerobic) in combination with the influence of metal ions, and also by exposure to visible or UV light. The completely new DELO-ML DB180 is mainly use for magnet bonding in electric motors, shaft-to-hub connections or fixing of components. For easy application control, this ML is fluorescent. Thanks to its high viscosity, it is particularly suitable for being used on vertical surfaces.

In addition, DELO will show the DELOLUX lamps adapted to bonding tasks with UV- and light-curing adhesives. The LED lamps allow fast and reliable bonding processes.

bdtronic GmbH, an expert in dispensing and impregnating technology, plasma pretreatment, hot riveting and automation, will present its dispensing machines with integrated plasma pretreatment system for cleaning and activation, enabling long-term stable adhesion and clean, polar surfaces without any residues.

Plasma pretreatment prepares the ground for perfect adhesion to various materials. In addition, plasma modifies the surface in such a way that disparate adhesive can bond a wide variety of materials. Adhesive dispensing is then taken over by the dispensing systems. These excel in precision, accuracy and continuous process control. Many application use DELO adhesives after pretreatment with bdtronic machines.
