Sulzer Strengthens its Position as Solution Provider for Industrial Sealants with Acquisition of Krøger

Sulzer has acquired Krøger A/S, a leading manufacturer of dispensers in Greve, Denmark. Krøger A/S achieved sales of CHF 9 million in 2012 with 35 employees. The acquisition expands the product portfolio of the business unit Sulzer Mixpac and strengthens its position as technology leader and solution provider for 1- and 2-component application systems for industrial sealants and adhesives.

Over the last 50 years Krøger A/S has developed a leading range of highquality manual, pneumatic and battery driven 1- and 2-component dispensers with the well-known brand name MK guns for numerous industry and construction applications. A joint development with Sulzer for a spray coating dispenser opening new growth potential in the area of corrosion protection has proven successful.

The acquisition strengthens the position of Sulzer Mixpac as a global market leader providing system solutions for mixing and dispensing applications. The Sulzer global operational setup and distribution network will render access to new geographical areas and market segments.

The integration of the acquired business into Sulzer will begin immediately. All employees will be retained, assuring ongoing customer dedication and quality commitment.
