Bethesda, MD -- The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) announces that its Spring Convention Keynote Speakers will address pressing industry issues including supply chain complexity, green chemistry and chemical safety, featuring experts from the industry. The speakers include:

"Entropic Controls in Materials Design as an Example of Green Chemistry"

This presentation will describe results in non-covalent derivatization and bioinspired photopolymers that illustrate a shift towards entropic control as an example of green chemistry, resulting in reduced toxicological and environmental impact.

"Chemical Safety Overview"

The session will share recent actions the agency and stakeholders have taken to improve chemical safety, increase public knowledge about chemicals, transition to alternative and smarter chemicals, and to integrate pollution prevention methods in chemical development and manufacture. Additionally, perspectives on future developments in chemical safety, upcoming activities, chemical information releases and opportunities for stakeholders to become more involved, will be shared.
