H.B. Fuller Receives NSF Certification for Water Filtration Adhesives

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- H.B. Fuller Company (NYSE: FUL) a leading global adhesives provider has received notification from NSF International that its new two part polyurethane adhesives for spiral wound membrane bonding UR3577 and UR3577LV have been certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 - Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects. These adhesives have also been tested and certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI 61, Annex G and is in compliance with Californias Health & Safety Code Section 116875 (commonly known as AB1953) and Vermont Act 193.

Customers can have confidence that the new NSF Certified H.B. Fuller adhesives have been tested and meet this important criterion for filter manufacturing. H.B. Fuller has been a leading supplier for spiral wound membrane bonding for liquid filtration applications for more than 20 years. The UR3577 products incorporate years of filtration innovation experience into the formulations that are designed to reduce leak test failures in spiral wound membrane bonding. The LV version is a low viscosity version that gravity feeds very well for equipment that requires this set up. Both versions have a 1:1 mix ratio and can be used for most water filtration spiral wound membrane applications including reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, and ultrafiltration.
