Momentive Announces Price Hike for Phenolic Resins in the EMEA Region

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. ("Momentive Specialty Chemicals" or the "Company") will increase the prices for phenolic resins by 200 to 300 euros per metric ton depending on the product and 120 euros per metric ton for phenolic molding compounds in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The pricing adjustments, driven by increases in key raw material costs, become effective Jan. 1, 2013, or as allowed by contract.
