INVISTA Expands its Research Centre in Newark to Develop Epoxy Formulations

NEWARK, Del. -- INVISTAs Specialty Materials business expanded its footprint by 20 percent at the companys 60,000-square-foot Applied Research Centre in Newark, Del. The expansion provides the necessary space and resources to allow the INVISTA team to better collaborate with customers, develop new products and end-use applications, and further improve existing product offerings.

INVISTAs Applied Research Centre offers integrated research and development support for INVISTAs Apparel, Intermediates and Performance Surfaces & Materials businesses. Dedicated in 2006, the 60,000-square-foot facility houses advanced textile technology, state-of-the-art chemistry labs and research capabilities.
