OMNOVA at ASBAs Annual Meeting: to Highlight Benefits of its GenFlo & GenCal SB Latex Binders

FAIRLAWN, OHIO -- OMNOVA Solutions will be exhibiting at the American Sports Builders Associations (ASBA) annual Technical Meeting, November 30 - December 4 in Orlando, Florida. The Company will be highlighting the benefits of its GenFlo and GenCal styrene butadiene (SB) latex binders, and AcryGen acrylic top coats used in the construction of rubberized running tracks and other sports surfaces.

Earlier this year, OMNOVA unveiled the newest addition to its portfolio of chemistries for running track applications - GenCal 7463 SB latex binder. Based on OMNOVAs robust carpet adhesive chemistry, GenCal 7463 provides better adhesion to rubber particles than traditional binders and delivers a good balance of strength and resilience within a water-based latex emulsion - ideal qualities for running tracks that are exposed to the elements. GenCal 7463 latex is produced at OMNOVAs Calhoun, Georgia facility to better serve the Southeast and Gulf Coast regions. This product is available in bulk shipments, 275-gallon totes or 55-gallon drums. OMNOVA also serves the industry from its Mogadore, Ohio facility, which produces GenFlo 3088 and 3966 latex binders for tack coat and primary binder applications, respectively.
