Bostik Selects The Wercs to Replace its Label Creation & Distribution Systems

Albany, NY -- The Wercs, Ltd., one of the global leader in hazard communication software, announces that Bostik has chosen The WERCS to automate the authoring, managing, production, translation, and distribution of EHS documentation across its worldwide operations. Bostik, with a presence in more than 50 countries, is a global leader in the development of technologically advanced adhesives and sealants.

Driven by the introduction of a global information system, Bostik sought a system capable of transacting globally with Bostiks company-wide ERP platform (SAP) as well as with disparate systems during the transition. The new system was also expected to efficiently handle both individual chemical substances and complex product composition in the creation of GHS compliant (M)SDSs and labels worldwide.

The WERCS software, including its SAP-certified ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) module, met all of Bostiks criteria. Bostik chose The WERCS to replace its (M)SDS, label creation and distribution systems, and ensure compliance with international and local regulations in the countries they operate in, as well as support implementation of global business best practices.
