The Sustainability Additives Group of Arkema Inc. has added a new, high efficiency impact modifier to its Durastrength brand of high performance additives for engineering resins. Targeted for use with PC/ABS, acrylic-based Durastrength410 impact modifier imparts toughness to PC products while improving the flowability of the compound. A small amount of Durastrength410 impact modifier incorporated into select PC formulations improves the impact and flow behavior, enabling easier manufacturing and more durable end use properties in the resulting injection molded or extruded product.
