Ever since the low voc rules were applied, we have not found a good replacement for the "Weldon" products we used to create a CLEAR glue joint. The result has been bubles in the joints which with clear acrylics looks both ugly and weak.
California has not made any effort to let us know of any good replacements to allow us those CLEAR-STRONG joints.
Anyone out there with a solution please let us know.

Anyone experience with which adhesives perform best on VOC? Methacrylates are quite variable in results.
MS polymers tend to be quite low, but do not offer structural joints.

My greatest challenge is pricepoint. Weve found absolutely irrefutable replacements, but when companies dont want to absorb some of the cost to replace the raw materials necessary in the formulation, the whole project screeches to a halt.

I would second the comments on the lack of information coming out of the air quality districts. So many other states and even Canada on a certain level look to the CA Air Districts model for guidance and direction that their technical lack really slows progress.
